New Tour Nature Photography

Our nature photography tours are designed for all people who are interested in improving as photographers. Whether you are shooting in a digital format or with film we invite you to join our professional photographers into the field as you learn both the technical aspects (your camera) and subject composition of nature photography.

In Nature Photography, the goal is to shoot with an esthetic quality in mind. The main subjects are landscapes, wildlife, plants and other natural scenes. For visitors, our half-day workshops in the wilderness areas surrounding Asheville offer the unique opportunity of sharing the experience of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains with like-minded individuals united with the common desire to capture the beauty and essence of an environment like no other.

Workshop Location: Pisgah National Forest
Our 2008 tours will take place primarily in the Pisgah National Forest. Pisgah, the east coast's oldest national forest was established in 1916. Boasting a half-million acres, Pisgah is known for it's scenic ridgelines, rockfaces, waterfalls, dense canape, and meandering streams and rivers.
Combined with rich landscape diversity and well developed roads and trails, Pisgah is the perfect place to explore a variety of photographic techniques.
